I am done. No more school. No more papers.

At least for this semester.

But I have to wait until tomorrow afternoon to go home. Stupid policies about turning in keys.

So now I'm kinda bored.

BTW, the newest Crystal Chronicles game has THE MOST ADDICTING MUSIC. I've had the website open for a couple hours just to randomly play the song.

... *is trying not to think about Tales of Graces*

Can't wait to go home and COSPLAY.

I mentioned that the official opening ceremony for the rec center is tomorrow, right? And that I have to work a shift when it starts?

Guess what.

I got an email yesterday asking if I would like to participate in the ceremony since I'm working that particular shift.

I would hold one end of the ribbon for the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

I don't have the uniform shirt.

They said they'd try to get me one. And to wear nice pants and to try to come early.

There will be A LOT of higher-ups from the college there.

So. Not only will my shift be busier because we expect a lot of visitors tomorrow, but I will be seen by people who normally would not see me because I am in no way an outstanding student that would be noticed by the people that run the school.

...can I hide in the closet now? *cries*

Well at least this year I got back to school ON TIME. Which means just before 7pm. And then today went on as if vacation never happened. Almost.

So. Last day of classes is the 11th. I thought that if I was able to finish my 2 final papers and hand them in early, I could come home on the 12th. But my "we're making this up as we go" class's teacher informed us today that we have a final exam period on the 14th, and we're supposed to go meet with him at that time to pick up our portfolios and get some feedback on them. Any chance I can skip out on that? I WAS REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO GOING HOME BEFORE EVERYONE ELSE. T_T

I love how my shiny new printer decided to betray me when I needed it most. Which was this afternoon, when I had to print out that paper I wrote on Friday. (I waited to print it because I made a few changes to it in the half-hour I have between work and the class it was due for). Of course, my printer had to be retarded and not print. So I ended up running to the library on the way to the class and printing it out. Thank Lorelei for the quick-print stations.

I'm tempted to skip my Tue/Thur morning lectures these last couple weeks. The final paper can either be written on the book we just finished or the one we are supposed to have read for tomorrow. (Which I did not start). I already know I'm writing on the first book anyway. And the professor doesn't take attendance at the lectures... so why not skip all the lectures on the book I won't need to read? That would earn me 3 mornings of sleeping in, or better yet, 3 mornings of working on the final paper so I can be that much closer to going home early. If I can talk Professor Throw-Together-A-Portfolio into it.

...wow, I'm not usually this mean. I guess I'm cranky. Maybe I suffer lack of Tales? *pulls out Eternia*

I intended to wake up early today to write a short paper, then spend the afternoon working on cosplay AND my project for History of the Book. I'm making a hardcover book, and I'll write about the process involved. But this was kinda screwed up because of last night. The guys next door had a bunch of friends over, and as soon as I turned out the lights they put on The Lion King. Kinda loud. And they sang along to EVERY SONG.

This went on until 2am. I was still awake.

So yeah, I didn't wake up until my mom called me, asking me to check what time the groceries were coming. I gave most of my contacts special ringtones, so for a second, while half asleep, I was thinking "Why is 'Be Your Wings' playing?" Oh yeah, that's home. >_<

I'm drinking cocoa, and pondering if I should start the paper anyway, or just do it tomorrow.

...Or I could watch more YuGiOh. Because I'm a nerd.

Ok, so after a phone call on Saturday night informing me that my sister killed my computer at home, we have now ordered a new desktop. Probably just a virus issue, but my mom didn't care.

And after spending an hour on the phone call on Sunday, ordering the computer and the Thanksgiving groceries, I wasted pretty much all the minutes I had, and decided to get my new phone now instead of waiting until Christmas.

It just came today, a refurbished Samsung Solstice that I saved some money on through the college discount plan. It's way cooler than my old phone... IT HAS A CAMERA AND I CAN PLAY MY OWN RINGTONES.

I sent a message on Facebook to anyone that had my number, but if anyone needs to contact me via phone, my new number is 1-508-364-5361.

In other news yeah school is busy lately and I've been watching YuGiOh... go figure. I wanna go home next week. (did I mention Evan offered to give me a ride home, EVEN THOUGH it's completely out of his way? Yeah right, I'm really gonna get in a car with a guy who had a crush on me and let him drive me halfway across MA. I still don't trust guys THAT far.)

Yeah, I got up early, went out to buy a few things IN THE POURING RAIN, and when I came back and went to the craft center, they were doing another group workshop and told me they were closed.

*cries* I could have slept in! Instead I went out and ended up buying clothes along with the extra cosplay materials because JC Penney was having a sale... although I did buy a really cute outfit and saved $45 on it...

Really, though. There is an email list for members of the craft center. They should tell their members what days the craft center is closed for workshops or whatever, so we don't go there and get turned away. This is the second time this semester they did this to me!

So... now I have an afternoon with nothing to do, unless I finish reading those 2 books. But then I'll have nothing to do tomorrow.

*sigh* Ok, enough about today.

A scene at anime club was avoided, thank goodness, but everything seems awkward now. I went to the club office between 2 of my classes, and Colin was there for a little while, but when he left, everyone else was kinda quiet, doing their own thing. I miss the conversations everyone would have together. Now Will is moping around a lot (at least according to Facebook, which hints that he's been drinking) and everyone seems out of sorts. I'm almost at the point I want to scream at everyone and tell them to stop stressing out so much and have fun, at least when they come to club meetings, because we're there to have fun, not to infect everyone with our dramas.

On another note, I finished enough of my story to send as my submission for entry into the new English Capstone course. I sent it in yesterday, and now I have to wait until all submissions are in and the teacher to read them all before I find out if I get in. If I don't, I'll probably give up on the Honors, since I'm sure I would fail the only other class I could possibly get into. (But then I'd have to find another class to take in place of it...)

Ok, something not school-related. I think I found something else I can become MILDLY obsessed with. Touhou Project. Now that I know what it is, I can see that THE CHARACTERS ARE HIGHLY COSPLAYABLE. The only problem is that there are so many of them, it's hard for me to decide which character I would cosplay, if given the chance. If anyone plays or knows Touhou, wanna give me suggestions? (Btw, I would probably never play these games; I'm bad at shooters, and these are BULLET HELL games.)

And I finally got a paycheck yesterday, after a battle with keeping enough towels clean and available, which is probably why I let myself buy clothes today. ^_^

It's weird, really. I woke up early on Saturday (for a Saturday) to go to JoAnns with Kim, my new Tales-obsessed freshman friend. Then we spent the afternoon in the craft center, me working on my new outfit and her mending/modding some clothes, and drawing. She drew 2 of the characters from my story ^_^ Then we met Sara and Lynn for dinner, and after that had a session of Vesperia. All in all, it should have been a great Saturday.

Then I came online Sunday morning. And things happened. Or rather, I found out about them.

First, Fox had sent a message canceling movie night around 4:30 Saturday afternoon. Now, I wasn't going anyway, since I had promised to hang out with Kim, and I've gone every other Saturday so far, so I thought it didn't matter that I missed one. However, I was the only one Fox sent the message to. Which means that either she didn't want me there (UNLIKELY), or I was the only one who didn't already know she was canceling it. That would mean everyone else knew not to come. Which led me to believe something had happened.

Second, I noticed Will's Facebook status. I saw the little message saying that he was single. I think, when was he in a relationship? He didn't tell anyone, or at least I never knew about it. His status message was an apology to anyone he might have offended the day before or something.

Naturally, I took these two bits of information to mean that Will had had a girlfriend, and they broke up, and he might have taken it out on Fox, which upset her and caused her to cancel movie night. I'm probably wrong somewhere in that theory, but I can't think of anything else.

I am very afraid of what tomorrow night's anime club meeting will hold. Something tells me there is going to be a scene.

Now. Time for a change of subject.
That fanclub idea. It has been brought to my attention by [info]47nite that if I am including important NPCs, then villains should also be included. Therefore, here is the new list, and if I am still missing anyone, let me know:

President:                   Jade Curtiss
Vice President:          Richter Abend
Members:                   Hubert Ozwell
                                     Will Raynard
                                     Rodyle

Seriously, I feel like anime club is falling apart. Colin told us yesterday that he's resigning from president at the end of the semester, and Chris may be resigning from webmaster. Namely, only the new officers are sticking around. Also, HALF THE ROOM leaves when the regular showings are over. Dinner before meetings? FORGET IT. Last night, it was me, Lynn, Sara, and Kim. No officers. None of the other usual people that come to dinner. Is this all because 2 officers graduated? *sigh* I would run for one of the soon-to-be-open positions, but whichever Capstone course I end up taking next semester would require me to miss the beginnings of the meetings, and one of my complaints about officers are when they are repeatably unable to attend the business meetings.

Will the day come when I don't bother going to meetings anymore? Fox recently said she wasn't coming anymore, and I can't help thinking that if things keep on like this, I won't care anymore either.

(Of course this has nothing to do with my Tales obsession.)

Now. About what I said on the Capstone. The English department has a new Capstone course that starts next semester and continues in the fall. We read literature, write, the whole 9 yards. IT IS PERFECT. The hard part (at first) is getting in. I have to submit at least 15 pages of prose, or 6 poems, plus a 2-3 page essay on why I think I should be in the class. LIKE I HAVE TIME FOR THIS IN THE NEXT WEEK. I'M STILL WRITING A MIDTERM. But at least it gives me an excuse to start writing that story of mine. >_> Unofficial NaNoWriMo anyone?

On a lighter note, I want to create a Tales fanclub. It will be called "Those Guys With The Glasses". Jade Curtiss is the leader. Richter Abend, Will Raynard, and Hubert (whatshislastname) are members. Flynn Scifo is an honorary member on account of wearing glasses with his school uniform costume. Sven is an honorary member for being the best NPC in Legendia. If I'm missing anything, let me know. ^_^

Wow... that was not the Halloween I was expecting.

First I slept until almost noon, went and had lunch (not breakfast), my roommate left soon after to go home for the weekend. I read some more of a book for class (ANOTHER 300-PAGER WTF PEOPLE), then started cutting out my new outfit (it's a surprise). I was iffy about going to Fox's until the last minute, because the weather looked crappy all day and my stomach was a little upset, but when I thought about it, I realized that hardly anyone would be showing up because it was Halloween. So, once it was a little after 6, I walked up there by myself. Yes, it's the first time I did that. And I did not go to dinner first because on Halloween, they do lobster night and I HATE lobster.

Once I got to Fox's, I was the first one there. We waited until after 7 for anyone else to come-Tamar and her b/f David. They brought cupcakes and cookies, which Tamar made and were so much better than Halloween candy. ^_^ Then we had to decide what to watch, which was a lot easier with just 4 people. First we watched A Haunting in Connecticut. I had seen a documentary-type program on this on tv before, so I kinda knew what happened, although there was more drama and more creepy/gross factor in the movie version. At some point while this was on, Adam showed up, making our group total 5. When that movie was over, we were going to watch Silent Hill, but the disc wouldn't read, so we ended up having to watch The Ring. This movie, believe it or not, I had seen half of on Halloween back in '04, and my friends were more freaked out than I was. Afterward I had to stay on the phone with one of them while she watched the rest of it by herself. So I kinda knew what happened in this movie too, but I still had my "OMG" moments.

Once this was over, we went home. Tamar gave me a ride back, since I was the only one that came from campus. I'm glad she did, because on the way back we saw a lot of students in costumes out walking around, and it made me nervous. Now, I hate to admit this, but once I went to bed last night, I had a hard time falling asleep, and I woke up before 5am and was wide awake for like an hour and a half after that. I kept seeing images from The Ring in my head, and I felt so stupid because I KNOW it's just a movie, but I really wished I didn't have the room to myself last night. At least I didn't end up leaving the light on.

So here I am. About to do some MORE READING and write 2 response papers for another class because half the class didn't do the reading assignment for Friday. Thanks a lot guys, I actually read it and now you made more work for me to do.

...*wishes she could have a hug right now >_< *

Got up this morning, and it was cold. I may have to modify my cosplay a bit so I don't freeze. Plus it's going to rain. T_T

Also. DAMN YOU BAMCO. DAMN YOU TO HELL. TWICE OVER. They're releasing, as downloadable content, school uniform costumes for the Vesperia characters in the PS3 version. THEY LOOK SO AWESOME I WANT THEM!!! Yuri is soooooooo hot in his uniform with the sleeves pushed up and his hair back, and Estelle gets a sweater over hers, and Patty gets a sweater vest, Raven and Judith get teacher outfits (lol), Flynn is student council president (big surprise) and Rita is the foreign exchange student (she gets a seifuku OMG). I REALLY WANT THESE!!!

When I made my badge for Gauche, the people in the craft center helped me experiment with a couple methods (that did not work) before I just painted the design over my stencil. It still smudged a little, but I'll make a better one for the con, don't worry. ^_^

I had breakfast but suddenly I'm starving, so I'm gonna get a snack. I'd better not be getting sick >_>

Reading assignments, the Tales of Vesperia parody video I've been working on for a week, my Halloween cosplay, and Idolmaster. That's what I've been doing.

Also my room has ladybugs in it. They're ALL OVER CAMPUS.

I couldn't do my cosplay in the craft center today, some group workshop was going on when I got there. So I sat in front of the laptop for three hours finishing one of the boot covers by hand. Tomorrow I'll do the other one. And I'll have to go to the center Monday between classes to make the legband. (I need paint T_T )

Also... I have a horrible suspicion that history is going to repeat itself.

Yeah, that thing with Evan. Only this time with Will.

See, now that Evan and Daniel have graduated, and Colin and Chris don't come anymore (they have a g/f and b/f now, respectively), there aren't as many of us going to Fox's for Saturday movie nights. It's usually me and Will from campus, and then Hallie (Fox's g/f), Tamar and her b/f, Katie from anime club, and Adam (Fox's best friend). Point is, now Will is the only one that walks back to campus with me. And like Evan before him, he walks back to Northeast with me when he doesn't have to, because it's out of his way. (At least when Evan did it, Colin and Will also lived in the same direction, so it wasn't just the two of us). Now I wouldn't have been worried, except that last week he posted a slightly emo note on Facebook. Last weekend was that dance that my friends all go to but I don't because I dislike those types of social dances. Will's note basically said that he felt all anti-social and couldn't talk to anyone, and he saw Fox and Hallie being all cuddly and felt sad, so he left early. So now I'm all "crap, what if he decides I'm a good idea and is trying to spend more time with me?" Does he know Evan tried last semester? Probably, Colin knew, and they are best friends. *sigh* If this keeps up I'll end up skipping out on the movies.

I went to Target after my class today, and bought a sturdy plastic liquid measuring cup and a teal mug. And a large tin of cocoa with marshmellows (they didn't have plain). I have just heated water in the measuring cup in the microwave, and mixed it with cocoa in the mug with a plastic spoon (I had some plastic utensils already) and NOW I HAVE COCOA. So no more mornings without cocoa. I can make some in the mornings in my room, or if my roommate is asleep, I'll take the travel mug I bought a couple weeks ago, put the cocoa mix in it, take it to the cafeteria and fill it with hot water.

As you can see, I was getting very tired of going to breakfast and finding the cocoa machine to only dispense hot water. IT WAS COLD THIS WEEK, I WANTED MY COCOA! *sips cocoa and calms down*

Tales of Eternia finally came in my mailbox yesterday! Turns out the shipper had made a mistake with addressing two packages that he shipped at the same time. My game was returned to him, and he sent it out with my address right away, and it only took like 3 days after that for it to get here. I couldn't play it yesterday because I had to read. That book I mentioned last entry? I'm supposed to finish it by Monday. From where we left off, THAT'S 300 PAGES. I managed to clear half of that before I said "Screw this, I've waited too long to play this game!" and popped it in the PSP. It's fun so far, although I couldn't help myself from trying to translate Meredy's Melnics (the text, not her speech). Took some time but I'm getting it down.

Oh, I also got those zippers, and tomorrow I can go to the craft center for cosplay again. I don't think we'll be going to Fox's; that Get Your Geek On dance is tomorrow night and I'm sure most of my friends are going to that. If that's the case, I'll stay in my room and watch the dvd I got, maybe order some Wings. I like Wings. Very much.

*finishes cocoa and returns to ToE*

In my Victorian Imagination class, we've started reading The Moonstone. Holy crap this book is good. It's basically a 19th century detective novel set in England. Today we watched the first half of a film adaption, which cut out some scenes since it's a LONG book, but somehow it's still really good. Especially the death of one of the characters- in the book no one witnessed it and clues had to be followed to determine what happened, but in the movie people saw what happened and IT WAS SO SAD. We also watched a little further than we had read, and so learned of the death of another character before class was over. Fun times. I knew I'd like this class.

Speaking of stories, thanks to the crap that happened on fanfiction.net last week, and another user having favorited my REALLY LONG FANFIC, I need to get a move on and update the sucker. Better yet, finish it before I start the new story I'm thinking up- which is my own story and not a fanfic. I find it so ridiculous that there are only a couple more chapters to go before it's finished, and yet I haven't updated it IN OVER A YEAR. I suck and I deserve to be punished by my readers, since apparently I still have some.

Anime club last night was rather interesting. First, since yesterday ran the Monday schedule, I was late and missed most of the open showing, which was the old Speed Racer. We discovered that we have been booked for the rest of the semester in the same crappy room, which the officers are trying to fix. And thanks to the meeting being canceled last week, we have to watch 3 episodes each of Read or Die and Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei this week and next week. But... there was some problem, and after screwing with the projector and the laptop for around 45 minutes, we had to skip SZS and go straight to open showings. Which was consequently shorter and we only had time to watch 2 shows, Full Metal Panic Fumoffu and School Rumble (which we watched last year btw, but it was either that or Grenadier. Eww.)

So. Cosplay. I decided to attempt to wear my hair like Gauche this afternoon, since I won't have a wig for Halloween. It's... amusing, to say the least. I should mention that this past Saturday I cut out the zigzags on the bottom of the skirt, affixed velcro to the inside of the collar flap, and began to ATTEMPT to make boot covers. I need to go to JoAnns again, probably on Friday after class, to get zippers for them. And how in the name of all that's Tales am I supposed to TRIM the bottom of that skirt!? I know Tales=bias tape, but COME ON. THAT SKIRT IS FREAKING IMPOSSIBLE. Droite's would have been easier! Scallops can be hemmed!

They really need to turn the heat on this weekend. The other night it was under 40 degrees and my room was freezing. My hands have been cold all day and I've been staying in bed until 11am, I WANT HEAT.

I completed all 4 of the assignments I had, still playing TotW:RM, still WAITING for ToE, etc etc yadda yadda.

Nothing new, really.

BUT, tomorrow is a Monday schedule which means I'll have to miss the beginning of anime club if I want dinner. Which sucks.

I got 3 messages from people on fanfiction.net saying that someone copied one of my one-shots, changed the names to make it a Devil May Cry fic, and posted it on the site. And I'm not the only one this person copied- he or she has like 40 stories, and the people who alerted me to the plagiarism say those were copied from other people's stories too. >_> I gave them all permission to report the offender, and I sent an abuse report too. Wow though, no one has ever copied my stories. They're not even all that good.

Anyway, that aside.

Radiant Mythology came back to me today ^_^ so I'm sitting here playing it. Even though, now that I've seen what RM2 can do in terms of character creation, I am REALLY tempted to import it and fake my way through. *sniff* Even though I wouldn't understand the story, which is the best part.

My dad called me at 9pm yesterday, and again earlier today, asking me what I wanted for my birthday. Um, my mom doesn't even do that anymore. She sent me a card. *sigh* But if he's going to insist, he can get me a book.

Nothing else really happened. It was a pretty quiet birthday.

Tomorrow, the start of my 4-day weekend, I will go shopping and start my library expedition assignment that's due next Thursday. Maybe ToE will come tomorrow, and then I can do all my homework and spend the rest of the weekend playing a NEW Tales game. (because it's STILL not here yet.)

Oh, one more thing: we were supposed to read Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass for that lecture class I don't like much. I read like 5 pages and had to stop. Luckily, we only spent 2 lectures on it and I don't have to write a paper on it, so I got away with not reading it. No offense to the author or anyone who likes his work, but coming from my P.O.V, that book is poetically perverted. T_T

Yeah, there was some stupid office technicality that we didn't know about until we got to the room we were meeting in today. So no anime club meeting. Bummer. Right before my birthday too.

So I'll sit here and watch someone play Radiant Mythology 2 on Youtube, and see if I could play my own by watching someone else. Maybe.

Sharon called me this afternoon to say that she just mailed my RM game back to me, so I should get it by the end of the week. There's one birthday gift.

The one I bought for myself? I got a response to my message this morning, which said the seller had mailed it last week and does not know why I haven't gotten it yet, but will bug the post office and see if anything happened. Whee.

That's about it. Man, I wish I didn't have a birthday this year.

Why rain today? I feel unproductive, and I have a paper to write! (I already did half of it but now I don't feel like finishing it)

And no cosplay on rainy days either, I'm afraid to take the costume outside, in case it gets wet.

AND, since it's Saturday, there's still movie night. THANK LORELEI Evan decided not to come because of the rain. The only good thing it did for me today.

Rec Center STILL not open. I want money T_T

Tales of Eternia still not here. If I don't get a response out of this person by Tuesday, I'm telling Ebay on them. I WANT IT FOR MY BDAY.

And I have to read this really long poem (long enough that it looks like a short book) and it's so boring. I'm tired of poetry.

I think that's all I wanted to rant about. See, I tend to rant more when the weather is bad. Only now I'm sleepy again. But dinner's in an hour.

Oh well, I'm posting now.

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE the theme song for Tales of Vs? I finally found it and put it on my PSP, along with the opening movie.

My Tales of Eternia isn't here yet, I hope I don't have to start something through Paypal because I don't get it. (please come soon >_< )

The Rec Center IS STILL NOT OPEN. And now I'm getting emails from like a 3rd of the student employees, asking for people to cover some shift or another. Why not wait until we get a date as to when the place is open? I mean, I was getting messages about people needing a shift covered YESTERDAY. Even though we had gotten an email saying that the place wasn't open yet, nor could they give us a definite date as to WHEN they would open. Seriously.

Also, Tokyo Game Show FTW. I saw the new trailers for Tales of Graces and OMG I CALL DIBS ON COSPLAYING CHERIA BARNES. ME! SOMEDAY I WILL MAKE IT! ([info]fate_repeated, if we ever do this together in the future, you should cosplay Hubert ^_^ )

It's getting chilly, I had to wear a coat to go to dinner just now, sniff. I want warm! Especially for my birthday!

Oh, my first class was canceled on Tuesday, so I came back to my room and took a nap (!!!). Today the professor for that class made up a revised syllabus. Now, instead of having 2 papers due for 2 classes next Monday and Tuesday respectively, I have one paper and a project-paper due the SAME DAY the next week. I'm not sure if that's better or worse. We'll see. I guess it depends on WHEN MY GAME COMES IN THE MAIL. COME ON, WHERE IS IT!?
